| So many places to go! How do you know which fishing adventure is right
for you? Your first consideration should be area selection. It is
critical to match your expectations with what an area typically provides.
With a little homework, you can come up with a pretty accurate picture, matching
your hopes with what's really out there.
For example, if your desire is to
catch a wide variety of different species - salmon, halibut, ling cod, red
snapper and other varieties of rock fish - then our area will be great for you.
Hook A Chinook Charters is located on the westward side of Prince of Wales
Island on one of the largest migration routes in all of Alaska. Please
feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Our e-mail address is

Captain Jeff Fredericksen says,
"Craig, Alaska is one of the most productive areas I have ever experienced. Because of its many bottom configurations and close proximity to the outer coastal waters, you will have positioned yourself to have one of the most incredible fishing experiences of your life. With many opportunities to work vocationally in other areas, Craig, Alaska has been my choice for over twenty-five years."

You
have several options on your travel to experience Alaska. Depending on your
home of departure, you may choose to overnight in Seattle, WA, or Ketchikan,
Alaska. We ask that you arrange your transportation from your home to Prince of
Wales Island and the return.
From
Ketchikan, Alaska we will help to arrange either a scenic float plane trip to
Prince of Wales Island or a more serene, 3-hour ferry ride through pristine
waters to Hollis, Alaska. Whichever mode you select, you will be met and
transported to your waterfront accommodation by one of our staff.
A
typical day with us would begin with breakfast in your cabin. An 8 to 10 hour day of fishing would then unfold. Lunch on board
our vessel should occur at a convenient time between fishing, whale-watching,
eagle observations, and scenic, photographic moments.
Relaxation upon return to your accommodations could include games, cards, a
movie, shower, beachcombing, or simply, a nap. We will fillet & process your
catch.
Dinner is at 6 o’clock p.m., and the evening is yours to enjoy.
